Partnered with “Kuroshio Ocean Education Foundation” , Lextar invited children from rural communities across Hualien and Taitung to experience an outstanding documentary film ‘Beyond Beauty – Taiwan from above’. Latest awarded as “the best documentary” at the 50th Golden Horse Awards, this film attracted most audience with the already well-known environmental facts yet in a distinctively spectacular way. 848 children and teachers from Hualien were invited to enjoy the beauty of Taiwan for free in November. Today some other 180 children from Taitung will step into the movie theatre and learn how magnificent our island is and how urgent we need to terminate the damage.

In line with corporate mission to give care to our land, and to ensure love and care to progress, Lextar is eager to help improve the quality of life in our community across the island, especially those remote communities in the east coast. Last month, partnered with local charity “Kuroshio Ocean Education Foundation”, 848 children and teachers across 22 schools in Hualien were entitled to the sponsorship. Quite a few of them stepped into the theatre in awe for the very first time to do so. Thrill and gratitude lingered in the memory of the invited, as well as the raised consciousness towards our environment. They also learned etiquette to behave as respectable young audience.

Five sessions in Hualein last month marked a significant progress in Lextar’s sustainability focus towards fostering awareness in environmental protection. Today approximately 180 children from Taitung are invited to see the beauty along with the evidence of the badly destroyed land. These children are about to see and to know the facts, before they will be worried and to care. Lextar is socially responsible for passing on love and care from generation to generation.
